In terms of (2) & (3), I think there are tons of people who are getting in touch of God in the world. Simply you do not know it. Since you cannot understand it, all you can say is that is imagination of believers. That is it. You wrote by yourself before that you stopped forcing you to believe the bible. This simply means that you did not believe the bible from the bottom of you heart and were not a believer from the beginning. That is why you could not receive the holy spirit. If you really understand the bible, you will see the will of God.

In terms of (4), if you come to not believe the bible after studying it for many years, I suggest you do your own business for your own's sake.

How did you come to "think there are tons of people who are getting in touch of God in the world"? Since you point out "Simply you do not know it" or "you cannot understand it", I assume that you think YOU KNOW and YOU UNDERSTAND it. Earlier, you said YOU ONLY BELIEVE. Now you seem to claim that YOU KNOW. Then, my question now is simply: what makes you think YOU KNOW or YOU UNDERSTAND it?

Believing is not understanding. You are mixing up two different things (believing and understanding) and abusing the word "understand", thereby falling into a self-delusion. About the only thing you need for beliving is a wish; having a wish is sufficient to believe; therefore, the kind of faith you are talking about is nothing but a wishful thinking. Understanding requries more than a wish. Understading requires a knowledge; believing does not.

To "believe the bible from the bottom of you[r] heart" from the outset is really refusing to understand the bible. Refusing to understand the bible is refusing to know truths about the bible. It looks to me you have fallen into a fundamentalist dogma, making a book (non-deiety) an object of worship. Do I have to remind you what the first commandament is: YOU SHALL NOT WORSHIP ANYTHINNG OTHER THAN GOD HIMSELF.

(3) Bible-believing requres not studying the bible

It is not surprising that many theologians today came to the same conclusion as my own -- the bible is erroneous in many ways. It is also not surprising that many bible-believers do not study the bible; it requires not studying the bibile to keep believing the false claim that the bible is true.
